Srinagar, Jan 28: A woman was killed in a road accident in Hirri village of Kupwara district on Friday morning.
Officials said a Tata Sumo cab hit a woman identified as Taja Begum on Kupwara Chowkibal Road Friday. Morning leaving her critically injured. She was immediately taken to a hospital, where she was declared brought dead, reports said.
A case has been registered against the offending driver Aijaz Ahmad of Kralpora (FIR no. 131/2019) in Police Station Kupwara.
