Sopore, Jun 26: A youth who went missing four days ago from his home in Sopore area of Baramulla district has reportedly joined the militant ranks.
Mudasir Ahmad Pandith, son of Mushtaq Ahamd Pandith, resident of Dangerpora Sopore, as per reports was missing from 23rd June. Today a purported picture in which Pandith can be seen brandishing an AK 47 rifle and other arsenal, appeared on social media.
According to the picture, Mudasir has joined Lashkar-e-Toiba and his code name is Maaz Bhai.
Meanwhile, police said they were verifying the authenticity of the picture.
