Sopore family seeks help to trace their missing son

Sopore, Jun 25: A family in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Tuesday sought public help in tracing their 19-year-old missing son.

According to the family, Mudasir Ahmad Pandith, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Pandith, resident of Bunpora (B) Dangerpora Sopore left home on June 23, and did not return.

Talking to ‘Kashmir Images’, Pandith’s mother Shameema said, “We are worried about the safety of our son and have lodged a missing report at police station Sopore.”

“My son was working as a mechanic at Hassan Motors Workshop in Sopore and was helping us to meet our daily financial needs. My son is handicapped,” Shameema added.

“We are appealing to the public to help us trace my missing brother,” said Mohammad Shafi Pandith.

Police said they are ascertaining the facts regarding the missing youth.
