Raina says he was asked to stop his vehicle and go back. “I was out to get medicines for my wife and I was already far away,” the elderly man says in the video.

“They asked me to go back and started beating me without any reason,” he said.

He said he was even asked to leave Kashmir. “What are you doing here, this place is not for Hindus,” the CRPF personnel reportedly told Raina.

While showing the pieces of a stick, Raina says besides damage to his car, he sustained injuries on his arm, ear, legs and back.

“Luckily there were some locals who helped us and saved me from hands of CRPF men,” Raina said.
