SRINAGAR, JUNE 18: Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar today expressed grief over death of an employee of Tourism department and a rafter when their raft was capsized in river Lidder in Pahalgam.

In his message, the Advisor offered his condolences to the deceased families and prayed for peace to the departed souls.

The advisor also wished early recovery for those who injured in the incident and are being treated in the hospital.

An employee of Tourism department namely Rinku Raja hailing from Udhampur and a rafter Sanjana from district died in the incident when they along with other participants were enjoying a joy ride in river Lidder in Pahalgam after the conclusion of the Rouf Memorial State Rafting Championship.
