Speaking on the occasion, Dr M S Tara highlighted the importance of the workshop and said that the workshop was aimed to educate the participants about the application and benefits of plastering techniques in Orthopaedics. “In recent times the application of plastering techniques for treatment of fracture is a forgotten art by majority of Orthopaedics Surgeons and the most of Orthopaedicians are now resorting to surgery for treatment of most of the fracture cases” he said. Dr Tara said that this was the first ever workshop on plastering techniques organised in district Baramulla and reiterated that similar workshops shall be organised in future.

At the conclusion, an interaction session amongst the faculty members was organized wherein questions were asked by the participants and were subsequently answered by the experts.
