Ganderbal, June 14: Leh won the title of under-16 girls Let’s Play Football tournament as the team beat Baramulla by 4 goals to1.
Leh dominated the final by scoring 2 goals in each half. For Leh, Fareeda scored 2 goals and Norzin and Dawa scored 1 goal each. Sakeena scores only goal for Baramulla.
Earlier, in under-16 girl’s category semifinals, Leh beat Doda 4-1 and Baramulla beat Poonch 2-1.
In under-19 girl’s category final, Leh will play against Kulgam.
In the finals of boys under-16 category, Srinagar is set to play against Leh and in under-19 category, Baramulla will face Budgam.
