Karnah, Jun 14:- A BSF soldier was injured after his service rifle went off accidentally while he was cleaning it at Manzoom Post at Semari Teetwal area of Karnah in Kupwara district on Friday, officials said.
They said Border Security Force Jawan, Ct. Noor Ali of 124 Battalion BSF was injured after being hit by a bullet while he was cleaning his service rifle during rifle cleaning parade.
Ct. Noor Ali was immediately taken to nearby Army health facility wherefrom he was referred to Army’s 92 Base Hospital at Badamibagh Srinagar.
