Srinagar, June 14:(GNS) Two militants have been killed in ongoing gunfight which broke out between militants and government forces in Braw bandina area of Awantipora in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday morning.
An official source told GNS that as the house in which militants were holed up caught fire and in between militants came out of the house and were killed outside house instantly by the forces. The militants were believed to associated with LeT.
As per the reports searches are still going on at encounter site as this report was being filed.
Meanwhile Mobile internet has been suspended in the awantipora area for precautionary measures.(GNS)
