Sopore, June 10: Zonal Education Officer Dangerpora Sopore has suspended five employees for dereliction of duties in Dangerpora Zone, whereas Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) has also been served show cause notice for unauthorized absence from duty.

According to reports, the Zonal Education officer Zone Dangerpora visited the Government Middle School Magraypopra village on 8th of this month and only three staff members out of eight were found present.

According to order vide no ZEOD/430-34 Dated 08-06-2019 issued by ZEO Dangerpora: “The unauthorized absentee staff members are placed under suspension with immediate effect till further enquiry.”

The absentee teachers were identified as Mohammad Muzafar Shah, Mohammad Maqbool Wani, Gulshah Ara, Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone and Abid Ahmad Sheikh.

Speaking to Kashmir Images, Zonal Education Officer Dangerpora, Ghulam Mohmmad Bhat, said: “I will never resist any kind of dereliction of duties from the teachers and my aim is to provide best quality of education to every child.”
