CEC Kargil reviews pace of progress on developmental activities

KARGIL, JUNE 10:  Ahead of the General Council Meeting of the LAHDC Kargil which is scheduled to be held on 13th of this month, Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC) LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan convened a meeting of the officers of various departments and took stock of the status of progress on different developmental activities and ongoing schemes in the district.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Project Engineer Civil PDC Kargil, Executive Engineers of EM&RE PDD, Civil Division II and Power Generation PDC, Sub Transmission Division, PHE, PMGSY and I&FC, Deputy Director Command Area Development, Chief Education Officer, District Youth Services and Sports Officer besides other concerned officers.

The officers apprised the CEC about the progress achieved on the works carried out during the year 2018-2019.

The officers also informed the CEC in detail about the proposed works and work plan of their respective departments for the current financial year. They also informed the CEC about the progress achieved on different ongoing schemes.

The CEC exhorted upon officers to work with utmost dedication and commitment besides to give focused attention for completion of all ongoing developmental projects under execution in the district. He stressed on the officers to put in their sincere and dedicated efforts for effective implementation of various government-sponsored schemes and prioritizing issues of public interest so that tangible results are realized on the ground level.

The CEC also asked the officers to conceive developmental projects in such a way that the same are completed within the set time-frame to avoid cost overrun.
