Srinagar, Jun 09: One person was killed and five others injured in a road accident in Reasi district today.
Reports said that two vehicles collided with each other at Maghal Katra area of Reasi district, resulting in the death of one female passenger identified as Pooja, a resident of Himachal Pradesh while five others were injured. The injured persons were identified as Major Kartik; Ravinder Singh, son of Sohan Singh; Kayaan, son of Major Karthik; Kiyush, son of Major Karthik, all residents of Himachal Pradesh and Major Shreeshine, a resident of Hyderabad.
Soon after the incident, all the injured persons were shifted to CHC Katra in critical condition. Meanwhile, the body of the deceased woman was shifted to the mortuary room of CHC Katra.
Police have also taken the cognizance of the incident.
