KARGIL, JUNE 09: The second phase of the compulsory Hajj orientation-cum-training programme for the pilgrims of district Kargil was organized by the State Hajj Committee J&K in collaboration with District Administration Kargil at Conference Hall Baroo here today.
As many as 85 prospective pilgrims of the district were imparted training for this year’s pilgrimage by the representatives of the State Hajj Committee.
Executive Officer State Haji Committee J&K Dr Abdul Salam Mir besides other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
The Hajis were imparted practical training and information in detail about the Hajj rituals as well as logistic support. They were also briefed about important documents and luggage to be carried along.
Speaking on the occasion, the Executive Officer State Hajj Committee J&K extended his best wishes to the pilgrims for embarking on the sacred journey.
He urged the prospective Hajis to pray for the progress, prosperity and the welfare of Kargil district and Ladakh Division and the State during the holy pilgrimage.
