Humhama register 10 wickets win against ACC Tarzoo

Suhail Paul’s blitz help Humhama beat Jehlum Sports by 4 wickets

Sopore, June 8: First match of the day was played between Star Cricket Club Humhama and ACC Tarzoo today here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore.

Bating first ACC Limped to a Score of 133 in which Kifayat scored 39 runs and Imtiyaz made 42 runs. For Humhama, Rafiq Baba took 2 wickets. Tawseef and Aasif took 1 wicket each.

In reply, Star Humhama batsmen thrashed all bowlers and register a 10 wicket win. Towseef played an unbeaten knock of 71 runs and Aaqib also scored 60 runs and was unbeaten till the end.

Man of the match award was received by Towseef Ahmad for his brilliant knock of 71 runs.

Second match of the day was played between Jehlum Sports and Star Cricket Humhama.

Jehlum Sports managed to score 128 for the loss of 8 wickets. Riyaz with 44, Shabir 25 and Aahiq 18 were the top scorers of the day for Jehlum Sports.

Aasif and Rafiq took 2 wickets each in reply Humhama achieved the remaining target with ease losing 6 Wickets Suhail Paul scores brisk 50 and Hyder made 21 runs.

For Jehlum Sports Young Danish scalped 3 wickets, while as Shabir took 2 wickets. Suhail Paul was declared Man of the match for his unbeaten 50 runs knock.

This tournament is playing under the banner of Sports Association Tarzoo.
