Eid Milan for orphan, destitute children organized at Baramulla

BARAMULLA, JUNE 08: In order to felicitate and eulogize the orphans and destitute children in view of the auspicious occasion of Eid, Human Aid Society Kashmir today organized Eid Milan here at Dak Bungalow which witnessed the participation of about 45 orphan and downtrodden children sponsored by the NGO.

Deputy Commissioner Baramulla Dr G N Itoo was the chief guest whereas SSP Baramulla Abdul Quyoom was the guest of honour at the event.

On the occasion, Chairman Human Aid Society Bashir Ahmad briefed about various activities carried out by the NGO and said that the NGO always remains at the forefront in different welfare activities. He informed that the society is providing educational, social, economical and moral support to the children sponsored by it.

Deputy Commissioner, during his address hailed the efforts of NGO and extended Eid greetings to the children. He said that the need of the hour is to provide appropriate platforms for them so that they can explore their talent. He wished them for a bright and prosperous future and assured that district administration will explore every possibility for their better rehabilitation.

Later, DC interacted with the children and distributes Eid gifts among them.

Sub-Judge Baramulla Faizan ul Haq Iqbal, Chairman BWJA Qaramat Qayoom, various civil society members among other prominent citizens were present on the occasion.
