Anantnag Boy Selected For Twin MUN International Conferences

Anantnag, June 2: A 21 year old boy , Aubaid Yousuf Itoo, from Anantnag has been selected as a delegate for the twin MUN international conferences scheduled to be held in September and November month this year in Dubai and Indonesia.

Hailing from Poshkreri Village of Anantnag district, Itoo currently an undergraduate student in Civil Engineering at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu has been selected among 5415 applicants as one of the Arab Youth International Model United Nations (AYIMUN) delegates for the international conference to be conducted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from 19th to 22nd date in September this year.

Talking to Kashmir Images Itoo said that his motive for being part of these international conferences is to address some challenging global issues on an International platform.

I have been also selected among 19220 applicants as one of the Asia World Model United Nations III (AWMUN) delegates for the international conference to be held in Indonesia from 13th to 16th date in November this year,” Itoo said.

“My focus would be to address social issues like Child Sexual Abuse, Child Labour, Poverty, Begging Mafia; Environmental issues like Climate Change, Plastic pollution; Health issues like indiscriminate use of antibiotics,” he said.

“I am thankful to Almighty Allah for His unconditional blessings. I would like to pay special thanks to my elder brother, Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo, who has been always a source of constant guidance and motivation for me,” he added.
