Last ball thriller sees City Hunks beat Kashmir Souzieth by four runs

Tarzova, May 29; City Hunks successfully shut down Souzieth’s prospective match-winning position to win a thrilling encounter by four runs in their league match at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore today.

In reality, this was a game Souzieth should have won. City Hunk’s score of 190 when batting first and being dismissed in the 20th over should not have been enough.

It was only that high as the result of a remarkable innings of 83 runs off 34 balls by Umer Nazir, who so dominated the scoring that when he saw the sixth batsman out on 66 runs. Javaid Jaddu and Nazir Tiger captured 2 Wickets each in reply Kashmir Souzieth just fell short of 4 runs but not before they played a wonderful game of cricket Javaid Ahmad 42 Junaid 41 Aabid Nabi and Javaid Jadu scores 20 runs each. Thus City Hunks won this cliffhanger by 4 runs. Umer Nazir was declared Man of the match for his sparkling inning of 83 runs and he also took 2 Wickets for his team.

Talking to Kashmir Images few spectators said “This was really a Wonderful game of cricket and both the teams have showed fabulous performance and at last City Hunks held the nerve and won this match by a margin of 4 runs.”

This tournament is being organized by Sports Association Tarzoo.
