Diarrhoea Control campaign to start from May 28

JAMMU, MAY 25: Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) campaign is commencing from   May 28 in the state with the concerned government agencies making all arrangements to reach out to the targeted population.

In this regard, Deputy Commissioner Samba   Sushma Chauhan chaired  a meeting of District steering Committee for Intensified Diarrhoea fortnight (ICDF) to review the arrangements for the campaign .

Chief Medical Officer Rajinder Samyal gave a brief outline of the goals and activities to be carried under IDCF in district Samba. He informed that under IDCF a fortnight mission shall be carried out in pan district Samba to attain zero child deaths due to childhood diarrhoea.

Similarly, Additional District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Ashok Kumar   chaired a meeting of officers of various departments to review the preparedness for Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF)- commencing from   May 28, 2019 .

At the outset, the CMO Dr. K.C. Dogra gave a detailed presentation about action plan drawn for the fortnightly campaign. He informed the meeting about the purpose of the campaign and emphasized to attain Zero Child Death due to Diarrhoea in the age group 0-5 years.
