Dist Admin asks SDMs to establish Disaster Management Store at Sub-divisional Level

UDHAMPUR, MAY 24: For timely distribution of relief materials among the affected people, District Administration asked sub divisional magistrates of Udhampur district to establish Disaster Management Stores in their respective sub-divisions.

In this connection, District Development Commissioner, Dr. Piyush Singla, directed  all the Sub-Divisional Magistrates  to depute officials dealing with the relief matters for keeping liaison with district level relief distribution team and collect the relief items for their stores.

DDC further authorized Sub-Divisional Magistrates to distribute the relief items among the sufferers during calamities as covered under SDRF norms and submit a fortnightly report to Deputy Commissioner.
