Indumeet starts Drug De-addiction campaign in Kashmir

Srinagar: Kashmiri Sikh Community leader Indumeet Singh has started a campaign wherein the youth will be taught the side effects of drugs.

The campaign was kick started from the Imamiya Public School Meer Behri Dal, where a daylong seminar on Drug De-Additiction was organised.

Speaking on the occasion, Indumeet Singh said, “We have found that drug addiction is on rise among the youth of Kashmir. It is also leading to an increase in petty crimes. We should come out together to end this evil.”

“There is a need to identify and book the culprits who are involved drug dealing,” he added.

It is pertinent to mention that the campaign is supported by ‘Foundation for Drug free World ‘ a USA based organisation , SAYA and Hope Ray both Srinagar based NGO’s and the youth of Kashmir.
