Sopore, May 20: In the ongoing Wular Premier League (WPL), Blue Star Safapora beat Asham Reds by 2 Wickets today here at Sheikhul Alam Sports Ground Tarzoo Sopore
Batting first, Asham Reds limped to 129 for the loss of nine wickets in the allotted 20 over’s. Feroz and Hilal contributed with 19 runs each.
For Safapora, Ashfaq and Waseem took 2 wickets each in reply Safapora suffer mini Collapse before Ishfaq and Nasir took the game away and played sensibly. Ishfaq 46 and Nasir 23 runs took the Safapora safely home and help his team to cross the line.
For Asham, Irfan Rameez took 2 Wickets Ishfaq Ahmad was declared man of the match for his all round performance of 2 wickets and 46 valuable runs.
