“On May 13, Mushtaq left from his home to attend his duty at Chuntimulla where he is posted as a teacher in government higher secondary school. When he didn’t not return home by the evening on that day, we made phone calls to every relative to seek his whereabouts but couldn’t locate him,” said his brother Manzoor Ahmad.

He said that according to the headmaster of the school, they were together till they reached Bandipora main market on May 13 but when they called Mushtaq by the evening his phone was switched off.

Manzoor said that when they failed to trace him they lodged a missing report at police station Pethkoot to seek his whereabouts.
