Karnah: Tehsil legal service committee Karnah in collaboration with social welfare department organised awareness camp on JK public service gurantee Act (2011) in Dakbanglow Tanghdar. The camp witnessed participations of hundreds of citizens from diffrent parts of Tehsil Karnah, besides members of bar associations and officials from social welfare department.

During the camp citizens were made aware about public service guarantee act which comprises statutory laws guaranteeing time bound delivery of various public services rendered by the Government to citizens and punishing the errant public servants deficient in providing the services stipulated under the Act.

Chairman Tehsil legal service Committee Easar Ul Nabi while speaking on the occasion said, “Legal Services in not only about courts. It is also about informing and educating the people about their rights under various sections of law.”

“This camp will help people to know about their rights so that they can raise their voice for the same,” he said.
