SRINAGAR, MAY 14: Shameema Firdous, State President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference’s Women Wing, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Firdous expressed concern about the rape of a minor girl from Bandipora and submitted a representation to Governor urging that the case be tried by a fast track court.
Governor assured Firdous that every possible action would be taken to provide justice to the victim.
Meanwhile, G.M. Shaheen, State President, Janta Dal United, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Shaheen discussed with Governor various pressing issues relating to public welfare.
