LEH, MAY 13: Investiture-cum-Intramural oath ceremony, 2019-20 under the title ‘Talash’ was held at Boys Higher Secondary School, Leh today.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Leh Sachin Kumar was the chief guest on the occasion.

JD Education, Ladakh Tashi Dolma, CEO Girdari Lal, Wildlife Warden Dr. Pankaj, JK BOSE Asstt Secretary Tashi Tundup, Asstt Director Planning Education Tsering Angdu, Principal Girls Higher Sec School, Leh Deldan Angmo, Principal in-charge Boys Higher Sec School, Leh Tsering Yangdol, school faculty and students were present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, ADC, Leh said that students are the future and urged them to walk on the right path and to choose their career with the motive to serve their country. JD Education, Ladakh Tashi Dolma speaking on the occasion said that the purpose of organizing this event is to search for talent in students in different sports and other co-curricular activities.

The highlights of the event was the parade by school students, presenting titles to the newly elected school captains and House captains, brief description about the school achievements by newly made school captain Padma Angmo, oath taking ceremony, dance performances by students, 100 mtrs race of boys/girls, archery competition and award ceremony. Endeavour of School NCC Mentor Tek Bahadur Pardhan was credited by presenting a gift.
