Teetwal Day inter-school cricket tournament concludes

Karnah, May 09: Teetwal Day under-14 Cricket tournament organised by Army’s Shaktivijay Brigade concluded here on Wednesday.

The tournament was organised with an aim to encourage sportsman spirit amongst the school children. A Total of 12 teams of diffrent schools participated in this tournament which was conducted on a knock out basis.

The final match between Army Goodwill School Hajinar and Teetwal School was played at Army cricket ground Chamkote which Army officials, Teachers of various schools and hundreds of school children witnessed.

Army Goodwill School Hajinar was eventually adjusted the champion team after beating Teetwal School in a keenly contested final.

The tournament was hailed by Elders, teachers and Sarpanches of the area alike who also expressed their gratitude towards the Army and its endeavours to motivate the children and strengthen “Awan-Jawan” connection.
