Srinagar, May 02: The historic Mughal road, linking Shopian in south Kashmir with Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu region, was closed for traffic movement following landslides on Wednesday late night.
Pertinently, the road was reopened for traffic earlier in the day after four months of closure.
An official said that the road was closed after fresh snowfall and rains triggered landslides at many places near Mansar area of Poonch.
He said that men and machinery have been pressed into service to clear the road.
