DEO holds meeting with BLOs at Shopian

Shopian May 2: District Election Officer (DEO) Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed today chaired a meeting of the Booth Level Officers (BLO) of the district at Mini Secretariat Arhama Shopian.

The meeting was attended by 300 BLOs from the district.  The DEO urged upon the BLOs to put extra effort and assist the polling staff as and when required.

He instructed BLOs to visit their assigned polling stations for a final check of the assured minimum facility of electricity, toilet, furniture, ramp, water and other facilities.

BLOs were stressed to remain present outside their respective polling stations on the poll day for the convenience of the electors.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Dy. District Election Officer, ARO Wachi were also present during the meeting.
