Anand Jain takes over as Director, ACB

Jammu: Anand Jain today assumed the charge as Director Anti Corruption Bureau here.

Immediately after assuming the office, in an introductory meeting with the Jammu based officers of Anti Corruption Bureau, Jain rolled out a plan for quality and speedy investigation of cases/enquiries with a pro-active strategy to take on the menace of corruption, an official statement issued here said.

The statement said that Jain comes to head the State’s premier anti-graft agency with a vast experience of having worked on different assignments in the State and Central Governments. He served as SP East Srinagar, SSP Baramulla (twice), AIG (Provision/Transport) PHQ, SSP Reasi, SSP Rajouri, SSP Jammu, Commandant IR 15th Bn,  UIDAI (Govt. of India),  DIG NIA (Govt. of India),  and IGP (Hqrs.) Police Hqrs J&K.
