Ganderbal, Apr 23: J&K Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ganderbal today concluded the ten days PM entrepreneurship Generation programme (PMEGP) for young aspiring entrepreneurs of district Ganderbal.

The batch comprised of 30 candidates hailing from various areas of the district, which include Gagangeer, wangat, kangan and Chatturgul.

On the occasion, Chief Guest J&K Bank Zonal Head Central II Syed Rais said, “Entrepreneurs need proper training to utilize  their  strengths and translate their dreams into real success and in that direction RSETIs across the state are proving extremely supportive to entrepreneurs.”

“The Bank is always ready to walk an extra mile in helping the youth in self employment endeavors as it is well aware of the fact that unemployed youth need support in the form of trainings and credit linkage programmes,” he added.

Director RSETI Ganderbal elaborated upon the role RSETI play in entrepreneurship development. He also divulged the details of the training programmes being run at RSETI and emphasized the need to take full advantage of such training programmes. He urged the candidates to work with zeal in establishing their units and become handy contributors to the society.

Earlier, Cluster Head Ganderbal Farhat Abbass congratulated the candidates for successful completion of the training. He hoped that the training imparted through RSETI shall prove a turning point in the business ventures of the candidates.

It is pertinent to mention that this was the 89th batch in the District Ganderbal which got the training at RSETI for availing the credit facility through banks.

The function concluded with the distribution of certificates among the trainees.

Cluster Head Ganderbal Farhat Abbass, Director RSETl Ganderbal M.H. Hamdani, Lead District Manager Ganderbal Farooq Ahmad Wani, District Officer KVIC Riyaz Ahmad and other senior officers of the bank were present on the occasion.
