Srinagar, 22 Apr 2019. In order to nurture young minds and help them appreciate the surrounding beauty of the valley, Army Camp Kangan organised a picnic for students of Army Goodwill School Margund, a defense spokesman said in a statement.
“A total of 103 students had gone out for the picnic to Discovery Point and Farooq Abdulla Park along with six teachers and additional staff. It was a brilliant opportunity for the children to play and enjoy themselves while appreciating the natural surrounding beauty. At the end of the outing the kids were very happy and their parents have requested for more such activities,” said the spokesman.
