Srinagar, Apr 21: Peoples Conference (PC) chairman Sajad Gani Lone on Sunday hoped that the investigating agencies understood the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik.

“My thoughts r with Yasin Malik. He has had frail health all along which gets exacerbated with hunger strike. Hope investigating agencies understand Yasin Malik. Haven’t met him for a decade. Politics apart— have spent great moments with him (sic),” Sajad Lone said in a tweet.

On Saturday, the family members of JKLF chairman said that he was seriously ill and had been shifted to a hospital in New Delhi for treatment.

Hurriyat-M chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has also said he was “deeply” disturbed by the news about Malik’s health.

“Deeply disturbed by the sudden news about Yasin Malik being seriously ill & shifted to hospital in New Delhi. As no one is allowed to meet him details are not yet known.
