Srinagar, April 21 : Supreme Court (SC) of India on Monday will hear the plea challenging the highway ban imposed in Kashmir for two days a week. The Chief Justice of India R Gogoi will hear the plea.

According to KNO the writ petition is filed by J&k Awami National Conference (ANC) Vice President Muzzafar shah.

“Chief Justice of India will hear the plea challenging National highway ban in kashmir tomorrow at 10.30am in court No 1 of the Supreme Court,” sources said.

Shah had pleaded that they are filing petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of J&K, seeking a writer of Certiorari or any other appropriate writ, Direction or order pursuing quashing of order bearing number 353-Home(ISA) of 2019 dated 3-4-2019.

The plea says the the highway ban order has completely disqualified civilian movement of traffic 2 days each week from dawn to dusk till 31-5-2019. “The plea will come on for hearing on Monday,” Shah told KNO.
