Baramulla, Apr 12: At least ten policemen were injured in a road mishap when their vehicle turned turtle on slippery road at Tragpora area of Rafiabad in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.

Sources said that a vehicle on polling duty turned turtle when it was on way to Srinagar from Dangiwacha after driver lost control on wheels on a slippery road following overnight rains at Tragpora area of Rafiabad.

Sources said that in the mishap at least 10 cops received injuries and they were rushed to District Hospital Baramulla for treatment.

Officials identified the injured policemen as Constable Bhopal, Constable Ravi Kumar, Constable Anil Kumar, Constable Mohamed Shafi, Constable Vishal Kumar, Constable Asif Yousuf, Constable Syed Tanveer, Constable Mehraj ul Din and Constable Tariq Ahmed.

The injured policemen are said to be stable.
