Srinagar, Apr 09: The Chinar Football League 2019 was conducted at Budgam Stadium from 18 March to 08 April 2019 under the aegis of Military Garrison Balapur.
The event turned out to be a grand success with the open hearted participation of 16 teams comprising of youth from various districts of Valley.
The final match was played today between Hyderia FC and Ganderbal FC at Budgam Stadium on 08 Apr 2019, the closely contested match was won by Ganderbal FC with a goal score of 2-1. Amod Ashok Nagpure, IPS, SSP, Budgam, was the Chief Guest for the occasion. In his speech he motivated the players for increased participation and felicitated them for their splendid performance. A certificate of participation was presented to all the players’ along with cash prizes to winners and runner up teams respectively.
The Chinar Football League 2019 was a grand success as it achieved its aim of promoting the sportsmen spirit and providing a platform to the youth of Budgam District. Approximately 800 enthusiastic fans witnessed the final match.
