Srinagar: IGP Kashmir Swayam Prakash Pani today visited District Budgam and chaired a meeting of officers.
IGP was accompanied by DIG Vidhi Kumar Birdhi and SP Budgam Amod Nagpure.
While chairing the meeting of officers from the district, IGP reviewed the preparedness for the upcoming parliamentary elections, a police spokesman said in a statement issued today.
He directed the officials to maintain highest standard of discipline while discharging duties professionally in the field and work with commitment and dedication. He directed the officials to make efforts for coordination among the forces personnel at the ground level so as to ensure a conducive atmosphere for elections, said the spokesman.
