Shopian, Apr 04: Government forces on Wednesday night picked up four more persons during nocturnal raids in Vehil and Choudrigund villages of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Reports said that Anayat Ullah Malik, son of Mohammad Syed Malik; Tanveer Ahmad Wagay, son of Ghulam Hussain Wagay; Sajad Ahmad Khan, son of Abdul Hamid Khan, residents of Vehil and Muzafar Ahmad Mir, son of Ghulam Hassan Mir of Choudrigund village were detained during the raids.
A police official said that all the detainees were lodged at police station Shopian. He, however, did not divulge the reason behind their detention.
