Sports Dept organizes Mega Road Race at Ganderbal

Srinagar, April 2: Youth Services and Sports Department organized a mega Road Race for boys of different age groups at Ganderbal. The race started from new mini secretariat Ganderbal and concluded at Sports stadium Gadoora.

DC Ganderbal Hashmat Ali Khan along with SSP of the District flagged-off the Race. More than 500 students participated in the event.

In U/18 age group category Aijaz Ahmad Hajam of BHSS Kangan got first position, Shoib Mugal of BHSS Lar and Mudasir Ahmad of BHSS Wangath stood second and third respectively. Simultaneously in U/17 years age group category Jahangeer Ajaz of HS Shallabugh, Shoaib Ahmad Mogray of Sheikh-ul-Kangan and Ajaz Ahmad Kasana of BHS Hayan got first second and third position respectively.

The U/14yrs race was won by Sahil Maqbool of HS watlar, Sameer Fayaz of Qamaria MHSS Saloora got second position while as Javaid Ahmad chauhan of HS Kachanambal got third place in the race.
