Srinagar, March 26: Accusing the NC and PDP of “double-standards”, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary, Ram Madhav Tuesday said only ‘good’ leaders will go to the Parliament.

Without naming the two parties, the BJP leader said people being aware of their ‘duplicitous nature’ as they have observed what actually they are.

“They have double-standards — speak one language in Kashmir and another in Delhi. Whose agenda they follow, people know. Now it’s the time to send good leadership to the parliament,” Madhav said talking to reporters on the sidelines of BJP meeting here this evening.

He also hoped that BJP will emerge victorious in Jammu and Ladakh provinces as the competition is expected in Kashmir valley only given PDP’s announcement not to field any candidate from the winter capital.

Madhav said BJP will also make sure that its candidates win from the Kashmir Valley as well.

“Jammu is clear; contest is expected in valley only. We will sweep Ladakh and Jammu seats and also make sure that our candidates win from Kashmir valley as well,” he said.

On Islamabad’s nod to open Sharda Peeth temple in Pakistan-administered-Kashmir for Hindu pilgrims, he said the central leadership including that of Prime Minister will decide on the matter after due consultations.

“Our biggest challenge is terrorism; everything is possible provided Pakistan will not allow its land to be used for terror activities against India,” said Madhav.

Regarding PDP patron Muzaffar Hussain Beig’s offer of legal help to the banned JKLF and Jamaat-e-Islami, Madhav in a sarcastic manner said “is Muzaffar Beig still in BJP, ok we will check what statement they have issued!”
