Kargil, March 25: District Police Kargil organized a programme “Share your singing-Kargil Talent Hunt” at Linguistic Centre, Bazaar Kargil on Monday.

The programme was conducted under the banner of Civic Action Programme 2018-19

Addl. SP Kargil Khalid Amin inaugurated the event followed by with his welcome speech through which he extended his greetings and warm wishes to all the participants and audience.

He further said that the aim of the programme is to provide a conducive platform to the young singers from Kargil to channelize their latent singing talent. He added that District Police Kargil through Civic Action Programmes always strives to create and develop a genuine platform that enables real artists from the District to be able to share their gift with the World.

The programme witnessed a participation of 21 young budding singers from various parts of the district. The singers with their melodious voices kept audience on their feet.

At the conclusion, Prize Distribution Ceremony was held in which all the participants and musicians were given cash prize and certificate of participation.

The local public hailed the efforts of the police for providing such platforms to youth for refining their talent and explores opportunity to nurture their talent.

Among others AD Information Ali Tak and many officers/officials from District Police Kargil were also present to grace the occasion.
