SRINAGAR, MARCH 25: Director, Integrated Child Development Service, Jammu and Kashmir, Shabnum Shah Kamli today chaired a meeting to review the status and functioning of Integrated Child Development Service, Kashmir Division here today.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director ICDS Kashmir, Deputy Director ICDS Kashmir, District Programme Officers and Joint Project Coordinator of Poshan Abiyan and Child Development Project Officers of Kashmir Districts.
The meeting had a threadbare discussion on the issues related to the schemes being implemented and executed by the department like Poshan Abiyan, Ladli Beti and nutrition supply. During the session she emphasized upon upholding the accountability and transparency in implementation of schemes. She directed officers to check whether the incentives from the department reach to beneficiary in real time. She also directed medical officers concerned with the department to visit the field, to find whether the ratio malnutrition among children in the Kashmir Division has reduced.
Director ICDS also discussed the issues of employees of the department regarding seniority, departmental promotion and others.
