Srinagar, March 21: On the eve of “National Science Day 2019” Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Kashmir organised one day seminar in collaboration with J&K State Science, Technology & Innovation Council on the theme “Communicating Science for All”.
Prof. Zafar Ahmad Reshi, Dean Research, University of Kashmir who was chief guest on the occasion deliberated on the theme of the seminar.
Prof. Farooq Ahmad Masoodi, Dean School of Applied Sciences & Technology also highlighted the importance of the day with special reference to the theme.
Head Prof. Zulfiqar Ali Bhat welcomed the guests from various institutions and also highlighted the achievements of the department. Among the speakers who presented their power point presentation were Prof. Zafar Ahmad Reshi, Dr. Ajaz-ul-Hamid Wani of Department of Biotechnology, University of Kashmir, Dr. Muzamil Ahmad Andrabi of IIIM, Srinagar & Dr. Shahzada Mudasir Rashid, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, SKUAST-K. The seminar was also attended by the students of Boys Higher Secondary School, Hazratbal.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr. Mubashir Hussain Masoodi, Convenor of the seminar and the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Mohammad Iqbal Zargar, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
