Srinagar: Three charred bodies including of an 11 year old local kid have been recovered from the gunfight site in north Kashmir’s Hajin.
The gunfight that erupted last evening ended today morning with the killing of two militants and a local kid, who according to police, was taken hostage by the militants.
The kid has been identified as Atif Mir. The government forces razed the house to ground with IED blasts, sources said.
They said that the militants killed in the gunfight were associated with militant outfit Lashkar e Toiba.
While the authorities have shut the educational institutions in the area, the mobile internet services have also been suspended.
