JAMMU MARCH 20: Advisor to the Governor, Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, has extended warm greetings to the people of the State on the auspicious occasions of Nauraz and Holi.

In his message, the Advisor said that these holy occasions symbolize the unique cultural heritage of the country and reinvigorate the spirit of mutual love, brotherhood and affection amongst the people.

The Advisor prayed that Nauraz and Holi bring peace, happiness and prosperity to the people of the State.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Governor, KK Sharma extended greetings to people on the festival of ‘Holi’.

He also greeted people on the occasion of Nauroz, celebrated as ‘World Arbour Day’.

In his message of felicitations, the Advisor hoped that the festival of colors will bring peace and prosperity in the state.

The Advisor observed that this festival has important cultural and religious significance. He appealed people to plant trees on the day as per tradition to safeguard the ecology and environment.

He further hoped that it would be the harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the State.

He said that the celebration of festivals is an important part of our social and cultural milieu which strengthens the bonds of brotherhood and amity.

Meanwhile, Advisor to Governor, K Vijay Kumar extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Holi, festival of colors and Nauroz.

In his message, he said Holi signifies the triumph of good over evil and the celebrations bring about the spirit of Universal brotherhood, love and the power of truth which also bridges the social gap and renews relationships.

He hoped that Nauroz festival becomes harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity for the people of Jammu and Kashmir

It is also a good time to spread the message of peace, joy and love across society and to celebrate unity in diversity, he added.
