JAMMU, MARCH 18: Advisor Governor KK Sharma  has expressed grief over  demise of Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa, who passed away yesterday after a prolonged illness.

While recalling his association and paying rich tributes to Parrikar, the Advisor described him an astute legislator who would vociferously project public issues. “He was a widely respected public figure and an able administrator whose selfless service to the nation will be always remembered. Inspite of his frail health he would leave his bed and be on roads and in office to do his best towards his state of Goa. This he did till his last days, a lesson for all to emulate,” the Advisor added.
