Srinagar: As a part of Civic Action Programme, Srinagar Police distributed stationary items among needy students at Government Boys High School Sonwar, Srinagar.
A police spokesman said that on the occasion, staff members of school, students and respectable citizens of the area were present. The items were distributed by SDPO Nehru Park along with SHO R M Bagh.
While addressing the participants, SDDPO Nehru Park advised the young students to excel in studies and extra-curricular activities, besides impressed upon them to study with zeal and zest, saying with ‘right spirit you can adopt a career of your choice which could give you work satisfaction.’
SDPO assured the gathering that J&K Police is and will continue to support under privileged students in their educational endeavors.
