Srinagar, Mar 16: An engineer of Beacon went missing from Kralpora area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district Saturday afternoon, police said.
A police official said that they received a complaint from the commanding officer of Beacon station at Meelyal in which he said that a junior engineer presently posted at Meelyal station has gone missing.
“A missing report has been lodged at Kralpora police station,” said a police official at Kralpora police station.
According to the complaint, the engineer — Rabinder Kumar Singh left from Meelyal Beacon station Kralpora and was yet to come back. “His phone is switched off. We have initiated investigation,” he said.
