JAMMU, MARCH 09: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, Saturday chaired a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of border districts to take stock of distribution of set-top boxes among people living in these areas of the division.
The DCs apprised the Div Com about the number of beneficiaries they have identified for distribution of set-top boxes in their respective districts.
During the meeting, issues related to distribution, installation of set-top boxes and other related issues were also discussed. The Div Com directed concerned DCs to identify the places to store the stock of boxes at the appropriate sites for the safe custody.
The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner, Pankaj Magotra, ADDC, Jammu, Tanveer Iqbal, SDMs and Tehsildars of border Tehsils of Jammu District while DCs of border districts along with concerned officers participated in the meeting via video conferencing.
