DGP rewards J&K Police Dare Devil team for excellent performance during Republic Day Celebrations

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 09: Director General of Police Dilbag Singh has sanctioned commendation certificates and cash reward of rupees one lakh for J&K Police Dare Devil Team for their excellent performance during the Republic Day celebrations 2019. The performance of the team in Motor Cycle show during the state level celebrations at University ground Jammu was applauded by the audience.

The team members who have been rewarded include SI Rashid Ahmad, HCs Jaspal Singh, Balwan Singh, Rakesh Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Krishan Gopal, Ravi Singh and Mohammad Aslam, Sg. Constables Tandup Doorjey, Dheeraj Singh, Abdul Majid, Shiv Kumar, Diwakar Singh, Mohammad Ashraf, Anil Kumar, Mudasir Ahmad, Sajad Hussain, Ajay Dhar, Ishfaq Ahmad, Mohan Singh, Davinder Singh and Mudasir Ahmad, Constables Raghubir Singh, Tariq Ahamad, Mohammad Sarfraz, Mukesh Kumar, Rohit Gupta, Khursheed Ahmad, Mohammad Parvez, Deepak Kumar, Manmohan Sharma, Rayees Ahmad, Jahangir Ashraf and Zameer Ahmad.

DGP has also sanctioned cash rewards and commendation certificates in favour of SI Nissar Ahmad and Constable Aijaz Ahmad of J&K Police Central Sports Wushu team for their excellent performance in 3rd All India Police Wushu Cluster 2018. The championship was held in Odisha from November 15, 2018. SI Nissar Ahmad has been rewarded with a cash prize of rupees twelve thousand for his performance as team coach. Constable Nissar Ahmad bagged Bronze medal and has been rewarded with a cash prize of rupees ten thousand and certificate class 1st.

Cash rewards and commendation certificates are sanctioned in favour of police personnel in non-gazetted cadres for their excellent performance in any sphere of the department. Such rewards serve as an appreciation and a token of recognition of their services which boosts their morale to continue with dedication in the said field.
