Srinagar: Police in Sopore today arrested one person following an action against those involved in drug peddling.
One person identified as Abdul Rashid Mir son of Sona-ul-lah Mir resident of Soin Sadnar Rafiabad was arrested for the drug offences and has been taken to Police station Dangiwacha where he remains in custody, a police spokesman said.
120 grams of charas was seized from his possession by the officers.
Case FIR No 15/2019 under relevant sections of law has been registered in PS Dangiwacha and investigation has been taken up.
